What is ‘search engine optimisation’? Search engine optimisation, or SEO for short, is the process by which we can make your site easier to find by the major search engines that most people use when searching the internet, especially when seeking a particular service or company. This is of great advantage to your business if you’re trying to find more customers, particularly local customers in your area. Being easier to find also increases awareness of your company and company brand by more and more people. However, if your website is only to provide ‘existing’ customers with more details about the services you offer then you may not require your site to be optimised. But then you are totally relying on word of mouth and your website address being visible on your business stationery and vehicles etc. This will restrict the amount of visitors to your website. It’s your choice. The process of optimising your website includes:
- Keyword analysis and implimentation
- Meta tags and alt tags implimentation
- Google site map creation
- Manual submission to major search engines and business directories

When will payment be required for the design of my business website? Payment will be required in two stages.
- Stage 1 - on completion of the basic layout and design, subject to approval, a fee of £100 will be required payable on receipt of invoice
- Stage 2 - on approval of the finished design a web hosting account will be set up, nameservers will be changed, search engine optimisation will be implimented and your website will be uploaded to our servers for viewing online.
A design completion fee of £100 plus £35 search engine optimisation fee (if required) plus any domain name registration fees will become payable within 28 days of invoice
*Note: Your website can be up and running within 14 days or less (subject to stage 1 payment being received) where speed is of the essence, providing all important textual information, photographs and graphics required are provided to us within this timeframe.
When will the web hosting fees become due? The first year’s web hosting fee is due on completion of your website going ‘live’ online. An invoice will be sent for due payment and should be paid within 28 days of receipt. Failure to pay will result in the website being removed from the server until payment is made. The annual renewal fee will then be due on the first day of the month the website went ‘live’ I already have a domain name which I want to use... No problem! We can arrange to have your domain transferred or updated to point to the correct nameservers so that your website, when completed, will be visible for all the world to see.
